Photographic documentation is essential in our business. When taking photos, always remember to include the interior as well as the exterior of the properties. **Note** minimum requirement for the exterior of the properties is at least one full view of the front and one full view of the back. When taking photos of the interior, make sure to take full shots of every room; if there are any additional items that are damaged and not on our repair list, please take photos of those as well. When submitting the photos to the Associate or Coordinator, make sure to label and date all photos. In doing this, it will make it much easier to match up every room or area with the repairs that need to be done. Also, if the Associate or Coordinator does not request photos, please do not send them. Another important key to remember is to never submit photos that include thumbs, tools/materials, obscene gestures, etc. Progress photos are essential in the event that a property gets broken into during repairs or is damaged by another peril. Should this happen, you will need these photos as documentation that repairs were clearly underway. This is your only assurance of getting paid. Once all repairs are completed, you will need to take thorough completion photos. A labeled and dated set of photos must be received in order to get paid. Include photos of all rooms in which repairs were done. Per your contract, the date the photos arrive at Superior Home Services is your completion date. The only way to guarantee a quick and timely payment is to get clear and accurate photos to us as soon as you can! Delay of photos equals delay of payment. In closing, the photographic documentation that is submitted is virtually Superior Home Services’ eyes on the properties, therefore when taking photos of each property, please make sure to include all aspects that apply.
